Storage Sheds
A resident
erecting a shed on their property must meet the specifications of
the Town of Dyer (right).
Acceptable sheds, which
can be found at local home improvement centers, are:
a. High-impact resin storage
buildings such as those made by Suncast, Black & Decker,
Rubbermaid, SmartShed and Royal Group
b. Wooden storage
buildings such as E-Z Build or others that use pre-cut
treated lumber and roof shingling
Unacceptable sheds are those made of
aluminum or galvanized steel with a baked enamel finish. These types of sheds are
easily dented, prone to rusting, and become unusable
within a few years. |
