The Town of Dyer has a contract with Republic Services (www.republicservices.com) for weekly (Friday) trash pickup in Castlewood. Recyclables are picked up every other Friday. When the week contains a holiday (see list below), garbage will be picked up one day later.

The Town of Dyer requires that garbage bins be stored out of sight from the street and that they be rolled out to the curb no earlier than 6 pm the evening before (normally Thursday) and brought in no later than 8 pm on Garbage Day (normally Friday).

Since old used batteries, TVs, computers, printers, etc., may no longer be put out with the trash, Dyer residents can drop them off here during the following hours:
